Drake: Why He Told Fans To ‘Keep Their Bras On’ During Show
Drake switched priorities at his Los Angeles tour stop over the weekend. The Toronto native has gone viral during his latest shows after fans have been throwing their bras on stage. However, at the Los Angeles concert over the weekend, his urged fans to “keep your bras on.”
“Look, to be honest with you, I can’t talk about t—— tonight in LA because my son is at the show for the first time ever,” Drake could be heard telling crowd. A fan posted a TikTok video of the moment on Saturday (Aug. 12).”So we’ve got to keep this real PG tonight. Y’all keep your bras on.”
Drake was performing at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California on Saturday as part of his It’s All A Blur Tour with Her Loss collaborator 21 Savage.
Adonis Graham is Drake’s five-year-old son, whom he shares with artist Sophie Brussaux. After the show, Drake posted a photo of him and Adonis backstage, captioning the photo, “Adonis’s Big Day Out.”
Last month, on Drake’s tour stop in Montreal, the rapper was disappointed in his fans after he did not get any bras thrown on stage like his previous tour stops.
“Don’t start throwing shoes and phones and s—,” Drake warned before beginning his next song. “If you got a bra, though, just let me know that I still got it, ’cause I feel like I might be having a bad show or something. I didn’t see no bras tonight.”
Drake then thought that if he played some throwback classics, that would entice the crowd to start throwing bras at him.
“Maybe if I play this next song, and I take you back in the day again to, like, 2016, maybe you’ll throw me a bra. How about that?” Drake asked. “Let’s go. Play it, play it, play it.”
