Katt Williams: More Entertainers Respond To Fiery Interview Comments
Katt Williams has taken over the internet with his comments about several comedians, rappers, and actors in his interview with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay. Williams called out Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, Kevin Hart, Ludacris, Ricky Smiley, Tiffany Haddish, and more in the nearly three-hour conversation. As the interview has been making rounds on social media, with the original interview already amassing over 14 million views, celebrities are speaking out against Williams’ comments.
Ludacris Speaks Out Against Katt Williams’ Comments
During Williams’ interview, he told Sharpe that Ludacris was a part of the Illuminati, and that’s how he landed his Fast & Furious role. He also took shots at Ludacris’ partner saying that he “ended up with a light-skinned ugly-face wife.”
Ludacris responded in a freestyle over Kanye’s “Devil In A New Dress.”
“Never been Illuminati, only Ill-Luda-nati/ And I only left with bitches when coming from any party/ Now I’m married with kids, the evolution of life/ Never been a clout-chaser, never say s— for likes,” Luda rapped.
He then debunked Williams’ comments on Fast & Furious and brought up his drug addiction: “R.I.P. John Singleton, you never have to flex when you earned every one of your Fast & Furious checks/ Afro with the sideburns, yeah that’s my signature/ Addiction’s on the rise, comedians check your temperature.”
Tiffany Haddish Responds To Katt Williams’ Comments
Tiffany Haddish caught a stray when Williams was dissing Kevin Hart. He said that Hart was an industry plant and he helped Haddish get her start by letting her open for him.
“I am not mad I just wish he would get his facts right about me,” she wrote, seemingly unbothered by his comments. “Dang I guess I will send him a reminder text.”
However, she did take a shot at him, How are u 0% funny on everything?😭 pic.twitter.com/EjR99OdVZP
Ricky Smiley Reacts To Katt Williams’ Comments
Williams called out Rickey Smiley for allegedly lying about being the original Money Mike in Friday After Next. He also said that if he were to work with Smiley again that he had to wear a dress because “Him and Tyler Perry can’t play a man to save their life,” Williams said.
Smiley responded saying that he wasn’t ashamed for wearing a dress in First Sunday which starred both him and Williams.
“That has nothing to do with my manhood being lessened for trying to play a role and trying to put food on the table for my family,” Smiley said per Vibe.
Smiley added that he and his family are going through a “crazy time” as the first anniversary of his son’s death is approaching. But, he said, “We want to wish Katt Williams nothing but the best.”
