A touch of childhood nostalgia has arrived in the heart of Boston's Back Bay, as the Sheraton Boston Hotel introduces its new “Goodnight Moon Suite” — a dreamy, storybook-inspired room where grown-ups and kids alike can drift off surrounded by the warm familiarity of the classic bedtime tale.
The suite is part of a larger global campaign from Sheraton Hotels & Resorts called “Goodnight Room,” a reimagining of Goodnight Moon, the beloved children’s book by Margaret Wise Brown. Through it, the hotel brand aims to blend the comfort of home with the imaginative spirit of travel, transforming an everyday stay into something a little more magical.
Inside the Sheraton Boston’s special suite, guests will find design details that nod to the book’s instantly recognizable illustrations: touches of green walls, playful red and yellow accents, cozy bedding, and curated storytelling spaces that evoke the book’s gentle rhythm. It’s a space that feels both nostalgic and sophisticated, perfect for families looking to make memories or adults in need of a whimsical escape.
“‘Goodnight Room’ is about celebrating life’s quiet, human moments — the ones that remind us of who we are and where we come from,” the brand said in a statement announcing the campaign, which coincides with Sheraton’s ongoing global redesign to position the hotel line as a modern gathering space for travelers.
For Boston locals or visitors seeking a short city getaway, the Sheraton’s “Goodnight Moon Suite” offers something uniquely heartfelt. Between a day exploring the Prudential Center and an evening gazing at the stars from their pillow, guests can find a moment of peace, and maybe whisper their own goodnight, room.
Bookings for the suite are available through the Sheraton Boston Hotel website and Marriott Bonvoy platform.
