WIC is a nutrition education and supplemental food program for pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women, infants and children up to age 5. WIC provides nutrition education, healthy foods, breastfeeding promotion/support, and community resource referrals. To be eligible, you must provide proof of ID and residency in NC and meet income and nutritional/medical guidelines.

  • Whole-Grain Cereal
  • Whole-Grain Bread, Brown Rice
  • Whole Wheat and Soft-Corn Tortillas
  • Whole Wheat Pasta
  • Vitamin C Enriched Juices
  • Dried/Canned Beans, Peas, Lentils
  • Peanut Butter
  • Fruits/Vegetables (fresh, frozen, canned)
  • Organic Food Products and Vegetables
  • Chunk-light Tuna or Salmon
  • Infant foods
