On today’s Talkback, stories of well-being: economic, mental-health, and one of the biggest strides in healthcare to ever come to our community – The Methodist University Medical School in partnership with Cape Fear Valley Hospital. WE’ll visit with the newly named Dean of the Medical School, Dr. Hershey Bell and the Provost at Methodist University. Dr. Susan Blum Malley. Lisa Hughes of the Cumberland County Council on Older Adults will also join us. And you’re about to meet LT Brewer and Douglas E. Newton.
For those with the entrepreneurial spirit, The Carolina Small BIZ Expo is a one stop shop to help you grow your business. It’s happening THIS Friday (the 23rd) at Fayetteville’s Metropolitan Room at 109 Green St downtown – from 10am to 5pm.
For business owners and operators of start-ups it’s the chance to learn, find answers and spread the news of your growing business while building a network of collaborators, supporters and ideas.

The event runs Friday 10 to 5. Attendance at the Carolina Small BIZ Expo is free. No admission to enter the Metropolitan room at 109 Green St. When you get there, check the signage. See the rules on site. To join the Speed Network Exchange costs $25, but with it comes extra privileges.
