Three visits on today’s Talkback. We’ll check in with busy Billy Mac! Billy runs a non-profit The original Restore Warehouse, which has served Fayetteville area charities going into it’s 25th year now at 205 Forsythe Street off Reaford Rd. near Robeson St. Biily’s also chairman of this year’s October 26th Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Fayetteville. We’ll also hear from Fayetteville Firefighter Jeffrey Tenner. He’s part of Fayetteville Fire Department’s risk reduction team on a vital topic to all of us!
First, however, is our conversation with Carolyn Justice Hinson. Later this week, on Wednesday, in her capacity as Communications and Community Outreach Officer for the City’s Public Works Commission, we’ll hear from her surrounding the Public Hearing on PWC’s proposed rate increases. Today she’ll be talking with us about one of the year’s most important fund-raisers for Cumberland County United Way – one of the area’s most vital backstop charity resource coordinators…It’s the second year for the u Saturday April 13th 50-foot rapelling – lowering by rope- experience off the downtown Medical Arts Building. They call it “Over the Edge”!
