Big news over the weekend, as Rihanna was announced as the Super Bowl Halftime Show performer.
If you are like me then you watch the Super Bowl for one reason and one reason only: The Halftime Show. To find out that Royalty will be gracing the stage in the form of Rihanna literally made my day!
Especially considering RiRi has been off music for a minute, and she previously turned down the NFL to stand in solidarity with Kaepernick. Luckily things evolve and change, the NFL has been putting forth effort to smooth over race relations.
For as long as I can remember Pepsi has sponsored the halftime show, but this year has been replaced with Apple Music. Best of all Rihanna has changed her mind and will give us what I don’t doubt will be the performance of a lifetime.
