With the success of Warner Bros. “The Batman” which dropped March 4, I asked recently who your favorite Batman was.
After all your input I decided all of you were crazy, and I needed to give you my list for more insight.
7. George Clooney
“Batman And Robin ” Movie Stills Starring George Clooney And Chris O’Donnell
Bat Nipples…if that wasn’t enough Clooney’s version played in some really bad movies which shared some of the wackiness of the 60s.
6. Val Kilmer
4/26/95 LOS ANGELS, CA BATMAN(VAL KILMER) AND ROBIN(CHRIS O”DONNELL) IN “BATMAN FOREVER”
At the time of his casting I know it made sense because of his work in other movies, but that doesn’t always translate.
5. Robert Pattinson

Don’t think that because he’s #5 that this is a jab at his work. I actually enjoyed him in the movie. He did a great job and honestly because it was only 1 movie is the reason he’s so low. I need to see him in something else before I can know for sure.
4. Adam West

C’mon now…he’s the OG!!! Even if you’ve never seen any of the old Batman shows (Danna Nanna nana nana nana nana nana nana nana nana Batman) his presence as the very first Batman was iconic and made a lasting effect on pop culture.
3. Michael Keaton

I know…I’m shocked as well. Another OG. Keaton was my favorite Batman for a long time until Christian Bale came along. His 2 movies were iconic, and his Bruce Wayne was just as amazing. Honestly if this was a who’s the best Bruce Wayne poll MK would probably be at the top. With the rumors that he may be in the “Flash” movie as an older version of Bruce Wayne, this list could change in a year.
2. Ben Affleck

This may be a huge shocker to people but I really really enjoyed BatFleck. Even if the movies were lackluster he did excellent I felt. His take on a much darker Dark Knight was a surprise to em. Him dealing with the menace of Aliens not to mention Superman did gave a different perspective on him.
Honorable Mention - Kevin Conroy

There’s a huge chance you are extremely familiar with Kevin Conroy and at the same time not know who he is. He’s the voice of Batman from “Batman: The Animated Series””Batman Beyond””The New Batman Adventures””Justice League””Justice League Unlimited” as well as countless other animated projects. He’s played the role longer than anyone else and even played an older Bruce Wayne in the Flash and Arrow’s “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover.
1. Christian Bale
Actor Christian Bale is simply the greatest Batman of all time. (Photo by Junko Kimura/Getty Images)
This shouldn’t be a surprise, not only did he star in the greatest superhero trilogy ever, he also starred in the best Batman movie ever, and he was opposed by the greatest portrayal of Joker ever in the late Heath Ledger. Bale’s approach took a different take on the Batman/Bruce Wayne dynamic. The anger and rage is there, the changing of the voice is there but also a willingness to do whatever is necessary to save his city.
