Over the weekend I kept reading online that BET’s Breakout Hip Hop Artist of the Year GloRilla was trending because of her name.
I naturally assumed internet trolls found humor in the name Gloria. Then my brother asked me if I knew her real name, and I was like yeah “Gloria.” He then goes “Google her middle name.”
I was thrilled with what I found on Wikipedia, and although it has since been edited the original page shared that GloRilla’s “government name” is actually Gloria Hallelujah Woods.
