Domo, left, with Speedy Morman on the HBO Max show "The Hype."

When Season one of HBO Max’s “The Hype” was set to air I was so excited to see a fashion competition show dedicated to Streetwear.

This form of fashion is so underrated compared to other styles. Obviously fans and networks execs found it’s value, and the The Hype is now entering into season 2.

After only four episodes Domo Wilkins owner of Faded NYC seems to be a promising breakout star. Domo has created custom looks for celebrity, with looks in music videos and national ad campaigns.

His most recent look, he created for GloRilla in her Tommorow2 video with Cardi B has gone viral. He repurposed a Carhart jacket into what you have to see to understand the true beauty and intricacy of.

What I love most about Domo’s creations is not just the creativity but the quality. He is extremely talented, merging classic Dapper Dan techniques with unique Gen Z style. Domo is also from the greatest state in the country NC! HeΒ  even goes back to Southeast Raleigh Magnet Highschool and works with aspiring designers to help them achieve their dreams. I am so excited to watch his career take off. His humility, talent, and hard work are the foundations for his success! Keep scrolling for more of his breathtaking designs.
