Nipsey Hussle's daughter, Emani will be remaining in custody of the rapper's younger sister, Samantha Smith.

On Monday (May 20), Emani's mother, Tanisha Foster appeared in court in attempt to regain custody of her and Nipsey Hussle's 10-year-old daughter, and custody was denied for Foster, according to TMZ.

Due to Foster's custody being denied, she was upset. The gossip site caught her after leaving the courtroom, and she told them that she was "pissed" (watch the video above).

Emani has been residing with Smith since her father's untimely death, at the end of March. Nipsey Hussle's family believe that Foster isn't fit to take care of Emani.

Foster's lawyer, Larry Lewellyn said that he's currently working with Hussle's family to set up a visitation schedule between Foster and Emani.

Monday's hearing was sealed, and there is also an upcoming scheduled court date in July.

Last week, Foster broke down crying in court, claiming that she hadn't seen Emani in months. During that court hearing, the judge gave Foster 20 minutes with Emani.

Foster currently has a bench warrant out for her arrest due to her skipping out on a court date last week regarding a DUI case. She also has prior arrests dating back to 2006 and 2007, which probably didn't help her case.
