The woman who drove the getaway car for Eric Holder, Nipsey Hussle's alleged killer, is afraid that she'll become the victim of a retaliation hit, and because she is a key witness in the high profile case, law enforcement is offering her protection.

TMZ obtained grand jury testimony that revealed that the woman who is identified only as "witness 1" in court documents shared that she's been worried about her safety on several occasions.

The detective working on the case claimed that he investigated her claims and found that a myriad of threats made against the getaway driver were legit.

The detective also told the grand jury that the woman's license plate had been circulating on social media, shortly after Nipsey Hussle was fatally shot, alongside descriptions of her physical appearance and her car.

Due to those factors, the LAPD decided that it was "very important" to put the woman under witness protection.

It's currently unclear whether or not the woman accepted the offer to be placed into protective custody.

The woman told the grand jury that on March 31, which was the day that Hussle was murdered, she spent time with Holder when they arrived at the strip mall that Hussle's store, Marathon Clothing was located in.
