Drake didn't attend the Grammy as he's on his It's All A Blur: Big As The What? Tour  But he still got some feelings he had about the award ceremony off his chest.

"All you incredible artists remember this show isn't the facts it's just the opinion of a group of people who's name are kept a secret (literally you can google in)," he captioned a video of himself giving a speech at a previous Grammy Awards on his Instagram Story Sunday (Feb. 5). "Congrats to anybody winning anything for hip hop but this show doesn't dictate s--- in our world."

Drake's post follows his loss at the Grammys last night. The Toronto rapper was nominated for four Grammys: Best Rap Album (Her Loss with 21 Savage), Best Rap Song ("Rich Flex" with 21 Savage), Best Rap Performance ("Rich Flex" with 21 Savage), and Best Melodic Rap Performance ("Spin Bout U" with 21 Savage).

2024 Grammys: Hip-Hop and R&B Winners

This was the first year that Drake submitted his music to the award show after years of criticizing it.

"I think we should stop allowing ourselves to be shocked every year by the disconnect between impactful music and these awards and just accept that what once was the highest form of recognition may no longer matter to the artists that exist now and the ones that come after," Drake said in a post on social media back in 2020 when The Weekend's After Hours did not receive any nominations. He later ended up withdrawing his two nominations in 2022.

For hip-hop this year, Killer Mike racked up three Grammys. The rapper won Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for "Scientists and Engineers," the song featuring André 3000, Future, and Eryn Allen Kane, as well as Best Rap Album for Michael. Lil Durk and J. Cole also took home a Grammy for Best Melodic Rap Performance for "All My Life."

Hip-Hop and R&B artists showed out at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards red carpet. From Victoria Monét to Tyla, these artists did not come to play. The award show airs live (8:00-11:30 PM ET/5:00-8:30 PM PT) on CBS and will stream on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the special airs).

So far, she has won Best R&B Album for Jaguar II.

Trevor Noah is hosting the award show for the fourth time in a row. Noah was also a nominee tonight for Best Comedy Album for Trevor Noah: I Wish You Would.

"It's a combination of remembering all of the preparation, thinking hard about what we're there to do and then remembering how many people have worked hard to make the show what it is," he told Billboard. "So I'm in my head, I'm preparing for every contingency that I cannot prepare for and just trying to be ready for anything that could possibly go wrong in any possible moment."

Take a look at the best-dressed hip-hop and R&B stars below:

Ice Spice brought us into the Y2K era with her Grammy's look. The Bronx rapper wore head to toe Baby Phat denim. The denim jacket was cropped with fur and she took a twist a denim skirt by adding train. She rocked her natural curls on the carpet which complimented the look. All the rapper is missing is boots with fur. The rapper is nominated for three Grammys tonight.

6. Ayra Star

Nigerian singer Ayra Star was a sight to see on this year's award show. Star wore a baby blue two-piece with wrinkles falling from the bustier top. The singer wore a matching blue mini skirt but what really gave the outfit extra points for us is the blue chiffon drape. The singer wore her hair in a sleek straight style and her eyeshadow complimented the cool tone of her look. For shoes, she wore scrappy silver heels that worked with her diamond accessories.

5. Tyla

Tyla looked ethereal in her mint green floor-length gown. The dress' detail includes a satin stash and shimmery cut-outs. The dress is flowing just like her now Grammy-winning song "Water." The singer won "Best African Music Performance" award for the record marking her first Grammy win. Although the dress made her a winner before she even accepted her award.

4. Summer Walker

Summer Walker took a risk and it paid off. The singer wore a white fur from head to toe. The R&B crooner wore a strapless fur dress and matching extra large hat. The singer kept it simple with diamond earrings. We just feel a tad bad for whomever has to sit behind Summer with her hat. The singer is nominated for Best R&B Album.

3. Halle Bailey

Halle Bailey had a captivating look with her Grammy dress. She was sparkling from head to toe. The deep V dress had crystals resembling a disco ball. For her hair, the singer wore it wavy instead of her locs. The singer is nominated for Best R&B Song for "Angel."

2. Coco Jones
