Kanye: Is He Launching An Adult Film Studio?

Kanye is expanding into the adult film industry. The rapper announced that he is planning to open an adult film studio. Ye took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to inform his followers of his new venture.

In a six-second video, a woman's voice is heard saying "Go to Yeezy.com." The video shows a white background with a message reading, "4 24 24 Yeezy Porn is c-------."

As of the time of this writing, Yeezy.com does not have anything launched pertaining to the adult film venture.

In order to get Ye's new business venture off the ground, the rapper has solicited advice from Mike Moz, Stormy Daniels' ex husband, who is a film producer in the industry. Daniels is a popular adult film star and former stripper. She has also been in the news for other reasons, as of late.

TMZ reports Ye has been looking into this for quite some time and Yeezy Porn could launch as early as this summer.

Fans had interesting responses following the news about Ye launching an adult film studio.

"i don’t even want to imagine for a second what “Yeezy porn” would look like," one fan wrote.

"Yeezy porn is crazy, can’t defend ye on that n---- folded on everything he stood for," another fan reacted. 

"From “Jesus is king” to “Yeezy porn is c------” is mad crazy," a fan wrote referring to Ye's  2019 Grammy-winning gospel album.

However, another fan has sparked interest in Kanye's next enterprise. "ngl I hate porn but like what is in it."

On the music side, fans shouldn't have to wait much longer for the second installment in the Vultures series. Ye and Ty Dolla $ign's joint album Vultures 2 is set to arrive next month according Ye's recent appearance on Justin LaBoy's The Download podcast.

Last month, Kanye thought he was speaking to Baby Keem when in actuality it was a fan account and he spilled that the album was dropping May 3.

Vultures 2 was originally supposed to arrive on March 8. On the supposed release date, there was an alleged direct message between a fan account (@yefanatics) and Kanye. The rapper said that he and Ty Dolla $ign are still working on the project.

"Hi Ye. Will Vultures 2 be available today?" the fan account asked the rapper, to which he replied: "We in the lab."

Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign released the first volume of Vultures on Feb. 9. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Vultures 3 was supposed to be released on April 5, but there is no update on that album at this time.

Hip-Hop is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. While the genre is one of the youngest, it is not short on its impact on the culture.

The genre originated in the early '70s in New York in African-American communities in the Bronx. There are several aspects to hip-hop in regard to music making, such as rap, djing, and freestyling. Those created other avenues in the art form, such as breakdancing and graffiti art.

Hip-hop has been in the mainstream in ways that were never thought possible by its early adopters of the craft.

"When we started on this journey decades ago, we were often told, 'No'. No, you won't be able to leave New Jersey. No, if you rap, you can't sing. No, singers can't become actresses. No, actors can't also produce," Queen Latifah said to Entertainment Weekly in a statement as she is set to become the first female rap artist to be celebrated at the Kennedy Center Honors.

"To now be recognized amongst so many multi-hyphenates feels unbelievable, not for just me and my team, but for our community. The work the Kennedy Center does is immeasurable so I'm beyond grateful for this recognition."

Throughout this year, hip-hop has been celebrated in performances by some of the greats. At the 2023 BET Awards, there were performances by MC Lyte, Big Daddy Kane, The Sugarhill Gang, D-Nice, Warren G, Yo-Yo, Trick Daddy, Trina, Uncle Luke, Redman, Erick Sermon, and Keith Murray -- also known as "Def Squad," and more highlighted rap on Culture's Biggest Night.

Earlier this year, Questlove curated a hip-hop tribute at the 2023 Grammy Awards where Missy Elliott, Run DMC, Salt n Pepa, Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash, Ice-T, Queen Latifah, Busta Rhymes with Spliff Star, Nelly, GloRilla, Lil Baby, and more took to the stage.
