Oreo is releasing a new kind of cookie, a jelly donut oreo! Just in time for National Doughnut Day. Make your next dessert even sweeter one.
According to a PopSugar report, Oreo asked consumers last year to vote from three potential flavors to create Walmart's 2017 cookie. Unfortunately, the limited edition Jelly Donut had a tough time competing with Cookies & Cream, which made first place. However, Jelly Donut did place second with the Caramel option coming in third.
As we all know, Oreo is always inventing weird flavors, like Swedish Fish, Cinnamon Roll, and Peeps. Are you not surprised they'd come up with a Jelly Donut concept?
These are the wacky flavors that people either really hate or really love. There's no in-between. For someone like me, I don't really know what to think. Why can't we just remain true to the classics? I think I'll stick with the traditional vanilla or chocolate Oreos that you dunk in full glass of milk!
