On it's way out, it looks like Amazon FireTV will be dropping the access to YouTube, as well as Amazon's Echo Show video device.

According to CNET, "The moves signal that the ongoing battle between the world's biggest search engine and the world's largest online retailer may get messier in 2018."

Amazon and Google have been going through some issues, which includes, from the Google's side, to "reach an agreement with Amazon to give consumers access to eachother's products and serivces."

Currently, Amazon doesn't carry Chromecast or Google Chrome, which is logical considering they have their own products for that. The spokesperson for Google said that "Given this lack of reciprocity, we are no longer supporting YouTube on Echo Show and FireTV. We hope to reach an agreement to resolve these issues soon," according to her statement VIA CNET.

Mentally prepare yourself to lose the service on January 1.
