The "Juice" singer and rapper made the announcement via Twitter.
"This is my first televised award show performance and I'm honestly about to go the f**k off," she wrote.
Lizzo is no stranger to bringing the house down at award shows. Earlier this year, Lizzo performed at the 30th annual GLAADMediaa Awards.
Hosted by Shazam! star Zachary Levi, the MTV Movie & TV Awards airs on Monday, June 17.
