McDonalds Is Entering The Fried Chicken Sandwich Wars
Lookout Popeyes Chicken and Chick-fil-A, McDonald’s is coming for you. The fast-food chain has announced that they will be testing out a fried chicken sandwich in Houston and Knoxville.

They tweeted out that they will have two versions. “The Crispy Sandwich is simply topped with butter and crinkle-cut dill pickles while the Deluxe is topped with tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo. Both served on a tasty buttery potato roll.”

In a statement, the restaurant enters the chicken wars very friendly, saying, “We certainly meant no beef when we hinted at a new menu item arriving in some of our restaurants. It’s true, we’re testing two new chicken sandwiches at participating restaurants. Houston and Knoxville are getting a sneak peek, everyone else should stay tuned for what’s to come in 2020.”
They also explain that the sandwich will be available through January 26.
