Signs have been spotted at various Costco locations around the country, announcing the new rule. They say, "Effective March 16, 2020, an active Costco membership card will be required to purchase items from our food court. You can join today. Please see our membership counter for details." The Instagram account, Costcodeals, has confirmed that this is indeed going to be a thing. They add, "May still vary per store and roll out date may vary as well..."
