Cumberland County: No Positive Cases of Coronavirus, Despite Rumors

In order to counter misinformation in the public, we are sending this update.
As of 2:30 p.m. March 11, there are no presumptive or confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Cumberland County. If a confirmed positive or presumptive positive case of COVID-19 is identified in Cumberland County, the Cumberland County Department of Public Health and the State Department of Public Health will notify the public.
The North Carolina Division of Public Health has established a call line at 1-866-462-3821 to address general questions about COVID-19 from the public.
We encourage the public to seek information from credible sources including the Cumberland County Health Department’s COVID-19 webpage at co.cumberland.nc.us/covid19 and the NC DHHS website at ncdhhs.gov.
