The Buffalo Bill house from The Silence of the Lambs will now become a bed and breakfast. (Yes, seriously.)

After making news for being up for sale in October 2020, the home located just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has been sold for $290,000. Per TMZ and The New York Post, its buyer, New York-based theatrical art director Chris Rowan, has plans to turn the property into a B&B.

Rowan seems to be trying to cash in on the pop culture nature of the 1991 film, because included in the renovation plans for the four-bedroom, one-bathroom home is to redo the basement and add the film's infamous torture well.

"Filmmakers shot the basement well scenes off-site — the house doesn’t actually have a creepy hole in the ground — but the new owner reportedly plans to add one to give guests the full Buffalo Bill experience," notes The New York Post.

The open date on the Buffalo Bill B&B is currently unknown, but don't be surprised if there's a rush on bookings once potential visitors can make reservations.
