DiGiorno Is Offering A Doughnut That Tastes Like Pizza

In celebration of National Doughnut Day, frozen pizza brand DiGiorno has developed a new pizza/donut mashup as a special treat for lucky recipients.

The "DiGiornut" is a doughnut stuffed with mozzarella cheese, topped with signature DiGiorno sauce, even more cheese, and decked out with pizza toppings.

DiGiorno said in a statement, “At DiGiorno, we like to push the boundaries of what’s possible for pizza, and the DiGiornut is something we’ve been dreaming about for a while. At the same time, we’ve seen out-of-the-box thinking from our fans on social media – connecting pizza with doughnuts. So we thought, why not have some fun and make this mashup a reality to celebrate National Doughnut Day.”

The new DiGiornut will be available exclusively through a Twitter sweepstake on National Doughnut Day (6/4). To enter, fans can reply to DiGiorno’s tweet with #sweepstakes for a chance to score a half-dozen box.
