Doja Cat may no longer be a fan of Stranger Things after Noah Schnapp decided to share their private DM conversation on social media.
The rapper was inquiring about Schnapp’s costar Joseph Quinn’s relationship status via DM which the actor posted in a now-deleted TikTok. “Noah can u tell Joseph to hmu [hit me up]. wait no. does he have a gf (girlfriend)?” Doja asked the actor.
“LMAOO slide into his dms,” Schnapp wrote back but the “Need To Know” singer couldn’t find Quinn’s account.
Following Schnapp’s posting of their DMs, Doja went to Instagram Live Thursday (July 7) per CNN to express how frustrated she felt that the Stranger Things actor posted their private conversation calling the move “socially unaware and wack.”
“I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it and he went and shared information that I didn’t feel comfortable with him sharing,” she said.
The rapper then chalked it up to the actor being young since he is 17 and she’s 26.
“When you’re that young, you make mistakes,” she said. Schnapp has not publicly responded to Doja’s recent remarks.
