Jamie McCarthy/Getty ImagesForbes recently released its annual list of the highest-paid entertainment figures and some iconic artists, athletes, actors, and actresses made the list.
Kanye West was reportedly the highest-paid male entertainer last year, and the third highest-paid overall, banking $170 million, according to the list.
West's net worth most likely comes from his Yeezy empire, which became a billion-dollar entity recently.
"I am currently the single highest paid person in footwear,” West tweeted in 2018. “That means I make more money on shoes than Michael Jordan.”
Russell Wilson ($89.5 million), Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson ($89.4 million), Jay-Z and Beyonce (both made $81 million), and Lebron James ($89 million), are among the notable celebrities who made Forbes' list.
Jay-Z is hip-hop's first official billionaire, according to a report Forbes made earlier this year. The Brooklyn rapper's billionaire status can be equated to his lucrative liquor deals, real estate, art collections, investments, streaming services, record label and his catalog of music.
Below check out some of the figures who made the list.
