Saweetie marked her SNL debut with a new song, “Icy Chain.”
The 28-year-old debuted her new song as SNL’s musical guest on the Nov. 20 episode. Along with the new single, she performed fan-favorites “Best Friend” and “Tap In.”
Fans have been eagerly waiting for a full project from Saweetie and the rapper hinted to BET that her long-awaited debut album Pretty B—- Music is in the works.
“Pretty B—- Music was supposed to come out this month, but I was really living with it,” she said at the time. “And one of my goals is for people to really feel something with every song, so I had to go back and reconstruct some songs. Just know that I’m a perfectionist, and it’s on the way.”
