R&B Crooner Tank recently made some comments regarding oral sex that sent people on social media into a frenzy.

During the interview, a conversation was started regarding if a man only cheats twice does it make him forever a cheater. "He's not a liar. He just lied twice," Tank said.

Tank was then asked,"Doesn't that make you a liar?" Tank replied, "No, because I've done construction a couple of times but I'm not a construction worker."

Different scenarios were also presented during the conversation such as if Tank was to never sing again would he still be a singer.

"Let's say a guy sucked a d--- one time, does that make him gay?" came up following the initial conversation.

"No, No. Here's the thing. Twice is excessive but let's dig into it right. He sucked a d--- once and he said, "I'm not sure if I like it or not. Let me try it again. Not for me. Don't like the taste,'" Tank explained.

"It doesn't mean he's gay. It means he sucked d--- twice," Tank continued. "The art of being gay is being gay. It's a continuous state of being."

The conversation then turned to what the limit is for someone to be deemed a doer of an action that they took.

"You strike out at 3. I think we just made some new bylaws. We should print this out," Tank said. Check the video out below around the 2:30 mark.

After receiving support as well as backlash on social media for his commentary on the subject Tank took to Instagram to call out negative criticizers who he feels are just homophobic.

"I said what I said," Tank said before laughing. "Y'all so goddamn homophobic. You gotta watch the whole clip. Homophobia is real. It's just as real as racism, classism, and all these other things. Just as damaging and it plagues our community the worst. This can't be used as a negative."

"You can't use a human being's existence as a negative. We're going through enough s---. You don't do that. I get it. You want to call me gay. I don't have to defend that. You don't have that power over me. Let's get back to positivity," he continued.

Before ending his video, Tank announced when his new forthcoming album is coming out.

"In any event, October 25th this album is coming out, Elevation. I don't care what your sexual orientation is it's gone work for ya!"
