Jeopardy! Contestant Confuses Janet Jackson For Ariana Grande

Janet Jackson and Ariana Grande have nothing in common. They are different nationalities, different generations, and sing entirely different music. It didn't stop one Jeopardy! contestant from getting them mixed up, though.

On a recent episode of the game show, the contestant completely botched a video question when he mistook Janet for Ariana Grande. The hint he was given was: "As the recipient of the 2018 Icon Award, she took 'control' & took to the stage in her live TV performance in nearly a decade." The video then shows Janet Jackson singing and dancing to her iconic song "Nasty" before the contestant spits out the wrong answer.

In his defense, Janet Jackson IS wearing a ponytail and thigh-high boots, like Ariana Grande often does. But that's where the similarity ends. Unfortunately for him, the botch is getting a lot of attention online. Watch the video below and see reactions below.
