Nicki Minaj Reacts To ‘Not Being Invited’ To Lil Wayne’s Birthday Party
Lil Wayne celebrated his 39th birthday party with a bunch of Young Money-affiliated artists Thursday but with one key member missing from the pack: Nicki Minaj. Nicki was quick to hop on Instagram and comment on the apparently lost invitation.
Party guests started posting pictures of themselves celebrating the New Orleans rapper when Nicki decided to be petty and post under rapper Mack Maine’s picture, “I had so much fun,” she joked commenting on a group photo of Maine’s.
“Lawwwdddd,” responded Mack Maine, adding three shocked emojis. “Don’t do it like that Nicketo!!! This s— was so last minute. We could run it back deaux it wasn’t complete without you.”
Reginae Carter, Lil Wayne’s daughter also commented in support saying the same thing happened to her.
“They always do that s—,” she complained. “They did it to me last time sis it’s okay!”
As we previously reported, Nicki was celebrating her son's first birthday at the same time and cleared it up that everything was just a joke.
“Can’t even joke nomo chile,” she wrote in her Instagram Story Thursday per XXL. “These blogs so thirsty to post smthn for y’all to hate under. The obsession is a diff kinda real. We weren’t even in the same state. Just a lil jokey joke between me & my boo Mack.”
“Have a blessed day y’all. I sure will. That’s why ya’ll pressed,” she added, along with the hashtag #HappyPapaBearDay in reference to her son.
