Fat Joe Calls DaBaby the 2021 Version of Tupac Shakur
Fat Joe has made an interesting comparison between rapper DaBaby and the late Tupac Shakur claiming that the North Carolina rapper is the 2021 version of the iconic rhymer, and many have questions.
DaBaby shared a clip from Fat Joe’s appearance on Rap City 2021 which aired before the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards on Oct. 5.
The Bronx rapper was asked who the modern rappers would be compared to and Joe’s answer surprised many.
“I should know the Tupac one,” Fat Joe replied per XXL. “I don’t know, it’s hard to be these guys. You be asking some crazy stuff. I would say DaBaby.”
In the caption, DaBaby didn’t hesitate to disagree as he wrote, “Agreed, But they gone salt that down too Crack,” later adding to his Instagram Story, “They gone make n—– slam they iPhone on the phone,” followed by three laughing emojis.
This had fans up in arms over the Tupac/DaBaby comparison with one fan commenting: “Fat Joe sayin dababy is 2021 Tupac is the funniest s— I seen today,” he tweeted.
