On Instagram over the weekend, the Oscar-winning actress posted a subliminal message aimed at the Toronto rapper. "Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy... even if you are a woman," the photo read on a pink background.
"Didn’t get my permission. That’s not cool. I thought better of him!" the actress wrote in the comments, adding, "When people you admire disappoint you, you have to be the bigger person and move on."
She also addressed a fan in the comments that noted that Getty Images owns the photo and not her.
"While I do understand your side. That photo is owned by Getty Images. So im sure he got their permission. And paid the fee. why you mad," the fan wrote.
However, Berry clapped back telling them that it was the principle of Drake using the photo since he previously asked for permission and she declined.
"Cuz he asked me and I said NO that’s why," Berry wrote. "Why ask if you intend to do what you want to do! That was the f--- you to me. Not cool. You get it?"
Drake Delays 'For All The Dogs'
"Slime You Out" is the first song Drake has released from For All The Dogs since announcing he would drop the project in June. Also, over the weekend, the rapper told fans that they will have to wait a little longer for the album to drop.
"Okay, my dilemma I am faced with is I either cancel [the]show to finish the album or I complete the mission and drop the album before the last show," Drake wrote via his Instagram Story Saturday (Sept. 16). "I owe you all these memories we are building and anywhere we have missed to date we will be spinning back for sure."

The tour was canceled due to logistics. "Due to the magnitude of the production of the Drake concert, it is logistically impossible to bring the show as designed to the FedEx Forum on August 6th. Unfortunately, the show is cancelled," the statement read via (via Commercial Appeal).
Before the It's All A Blur Tour, the last time Drake was on the road was in 2018 for Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour where he was accompanied by the Atlanta trio. I have an album dropping for you in, like, two weeks or some s---," he told the crowd. "But until then, just know, you’re always with me and I’m always thinking of you. Everything I do is for you. Drake then began to wonder who was the one that devised this plan to have the bra thrown on stage.
"Who did this? This might be the end of a saga right there. This might be the end of the road, I don’t know. If these were real, I don’t even know if I’d wanna see ’em because then I’d believe that aliens exist."
Drake then received an answer to his question.
"Oh, this is from my dad? The card says this is from my father, my father made this for me. ‘Dad’s wishing big things for you. I love you and made sure you were breastfed correctly.’ What is wrong with this man? This man is crazy."
