Lori Harvey & Damson Idris Split After One Year Of Dating
Lori Harvey and Damson Idris have called it quits. After over a year of dating, the former couple released a joint statement about their breakup.
“We are at a point in our lives where our individual paths require our full attention and dedication,” the former couple shared in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “We part ways, remaining friends with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time we shared together.”
Fans speculated that the two were no longer an item after they noticed that they had unfollowed one another on Instagram. Back in June, the Snowfall actor posted a cryptic message about “needing to go where you feel valued,” which fans believed he was talking about his relationship with the model. Both Idris and Harvey deleted photos of one another as they had lavish vacations over the summer, traveling to Turks and Caicos, dancing overseas at Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, chartering a yacht in Saint Tropez, and more.
How Lori Harvey & Damson Idris Relationship Began
Harvey and Idris were rumored to be dating after they were seen at a Los Angeles restaurant in December 2022. They made their relationship Instagram official after Idris posted a photo of him kissing her on the cheek. He captioned the photo, “Happy birthday Nunu.” They made their red carpet debut nine months into the relationship at his Snowfall series finale premiere.
In a rare interview with Harvey, she spoke to her close friend Teyana Taylor on Bumble Presents Luv2SeeIt with Teyana Taylor, about her relationship with Idris.
“Not compromising my values, my standards, and my requirements,” she said of the relationship. “You’ve got to make sure you’re giving [your love] to the right person because when you start giving it to the wrong person, it starts to drain you.”
Prior to Idris, Harvey was linked to Michael B. Jordan. They dated for two years.
