Keke Palmer’s Ex Darius Jackson To Seek Protection From Her
Keke Palmer’s ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson, is seeking legal protection from the actress after claiming she was the alleged abuser in their former relationship. Jackson claims that the Nope star was “verbally and physically abusive” during their relationship, which lasted two years.
In legal documents obtained by Page Six, he claims that following an incident in August 2021, Palmer later apologized for hitting him through a screenshot of a text message from her.
“I am sorry for hitting you,” the message allegedly read.
Jackson later explains that another incident occurred in October 2021 where she allegedly “violently gripped” the father of one after trying to go to a restaurant after that watched a football game.
“We exchanged a text about this incident, and I sent her a photo of the marks she left on my arm that night,” he stated in the legal documents. He also provided photos of his arm and an alleged text conversation between them which called him “childish” and that another message read “We’re done.”

Jackson’s filing comes a month after court documents obtained by theJasmineBRAND, Jackson allegedly called her degrading names and nearly struck her with his car during an argument.
“If we were at a party or event, and I spoke with one person too long or looked at someone a ‘certain way,’ he would storm off in a rage — telling me I was [a] ‘slut’ and a ‘whore,’ accuse me of cheating on him, and that I did not love him,” the Nope actress wrote.
Additionally, she stated that Jackson almost hit her with his car after she tried to get away from him at her home after he allegedly assaulted her.
“Darius had a way of gaslighting me to make me feel like I was doing something wrong even though I wasn’t,” she added.
She also filed a restraining order against Jackson on Nov. 5 after he allegedly trespassed into her home, struck her, and took her phone. She has temporary full custody of their son Leodis.
Jackson has denied the physical and emotional abuse allegations.
