Summer Walker Drops Visual For ‘Drown In My Love’
Summer Walker gave R&B lovers a gift on Christmas Day with “Drown In My Love.” The song just keeps on giving as the Atlanta native dropped the visual to the song on Tuesday (Dec. 26).
The music video stars rising rapper Foggieraw, who is Walker’s leading man. The song is about the Over It singer going back and forth between her emotions with an old flame as a new man enters her life, conflicting her feelings.
“Don’t touch me there, I’m not ready/ I’m sorry but my heart’s too heavy/ You’re starin’ me right in my face/ Hopin’ and prayin’ it ain’t too late/ But that ain’t a risk I’m willin’ to take/ Leave me in peace all alone/ I rather wallow, no/ Don’t take me up out my sorrows, oh/ I need to feel it, I need to feel it/ So I can heal it, baby…” she sings.
Walker’s last studio album, Still Over It, was released two years ago. The R&B crooner got her first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with the album, which had guest appearances from Cardi B, City Girls’ JT, SZA, Ari Lennox, Ciara, Lil Durk, Pharrell Williams, and Omarion.
