In Tennessee, they highlight Lakeview RV Resort in Bluff City, which is located on the shores of Boone Lake and close to Bristol Motor Speedway. In the article, they boast that Lakeview RV Resort “offers sites with water, sewer and electric hookups, some with cable, for $40 to $44 per night,” which is a steal. Also, some of the sites overlook the lake, making for an extra beautiful view. Another choice spot is Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley Campground in Mount Jackson. If you love mountains, this is for you, as the “campground features views of the Shenandoah Valley, as well as the Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains, and offers easy access to the Virginia Museum of the Civil War, Shenandoah National Park and Bryce Resort.” Sites are available for $50 to $60 per night, according to Reader’s Digest, and have an array of amenities.

For South Carolina, it’s Huntington Beach State Park in Murrells Inlet, which is “known as one of the best places on the East Coast for birding.” Reader’s Digest adds that this area is a “natural paradise” that sits along the pristine Atlantic Ocean beach. RV sites range from $25 to $65 nightly. For North Carolina, the experts recommend Camping World Racing Resort in Concord, which is near the famed Charlotte Motor Speedway. This are offers more than 300 sites with plenty of amenities. I think it’s wonderful to see these South Carolina and North Carolina spots get the national acclaim.
