In a video, that has now been deleted but shared by The Neighborhood Talk, the self-proclaimed “King of R&B” expressed his frustration with the television network for not acknowledging the success of his mixtapes and 2018 studio album.
“Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. How in the f*ck am I not nominated for a BET Award,” Jacquees asked in the video. “Bruh, how the f*ck is that possible,” he then asks someone who is off camera.
“I don’t know, bruh. I’m with you. When it came out, I was like mmm,” the person off camera responded.
“I ain’t gone lie. I feel disrespected at this point. Like, maybe I gotta work harder, but how hard you gotta work when you nominated for that don’t even. Never mind. Never mind,” Jacquees said.
