Anthony Hamilton Verzuz Musiq Soulchild battle was everything I needed and more!
The Verzuz battle between Anthony Hamilton and Musiq Soulchild had everyone scrolling down memory lane as these two artist went hit-for-hit Tuesday night (Feb. 15).
The battle was a special one for Valentine’s Day which the artist passed out roses to the audience. Rapper Jermaine Dupri, Donell Jones, Lucky Day were amongst a few celebrity guest to make a special appearance during the performances.
Anthony Hamilton made sure to represent for North Carolina as he sung some of his iconic songs including ‘Mama Knew Love,’ Comin’ From Where I’m From,’ Giving You The Best Of Me,’ and more while Musiq Soulchild competed with a few of my favorites with ‘Yes,’ ‘Half-crazy’ ‘Just Friends’ and more.
Both Men did an amazing job entertaining us on Instagram live. If I had to say who won the battle, I put my money on Anthony Hamilton!
