Multiple reports are surfacing online that say a powerful earthquake has struck New Zealand.

According to the Daily Star, the center of the earthquake was near New Plymouth, while the royal couple are staying in Auckland -- about 150 miles from where the quake struck.

The reported magnitude of the quake varies. The Daily Star is saying it was a 6.1 while the Daily Mail is saying it was a 6.7.

Either way, it's the most powerful earthquake to strike the country since 2016.

At this time, there are no reports of any injuries or fatalities.

Just hours ago, photos of Meghan and Harry appeared on the Kensington Palace twitter account, showing the couple participating in local activities.

As of this posting, the palace has not addressed the earthquake or how it has impacted the royal couple.

We will keep you posted.
