Nipsey Hussle Dead at 33
Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed this afternoon (March 31) in Los Angeles. He was 33.
According to reports from the Los Angeles Times and NBC News, Hussle was shot outside of Marathon Clothing, his clothing store in South Los Angeles. Two other people were wounded in the shooting, according to local law enforcement.
The Grammy-nominated rapper who was born Ermias Asghedom reportedly tweeted about having enemies an hour before he was shot and killed.

Shooter got close before opening fire outside Marathon. Shooter was known to Nipsey. Shooter is believed to have a gang affiliation but this isn't a rival. The dispute is personal in nature behind the shooting.
Winton tweeted that the shooter was known to Hussle and believed to have a gang affiliation, but the killing wasn’t about a rivalry but perhaps a personal dispute.
Surveillance footage from Hussle’s murder scene was also leaked, reports XXL. Monday (Apr. 1), TMZ posted the footage from the scene where you can see someone who appears to be the murder suspect approach a group of people outside of Hussle’s store. No gun is visible, but flashes of light can be seen coming from the possible suspect as they approach the group of people. One person is seen falling to the ground after being shot. It’s not confirmed whether or not that person is Hussle, as two others were shot during the unfortunate incident.
The NY Daily News has also reported that police are focusing on a suspect that is known to Nipsey Hussle.
