Lori Loughlin Sentenced To Two Months In Prison For College Admissions Scandal
Lori Loughlin has been sentenced for her involvement in the college admission scandal.
Per TMZ, the Full House actress will “be sentenced to 2 months behind bars, a $150,000 fine and 2 years probation … along with performing 100 hours of community service.”
Her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, was sentenced earlier today and will get five months in prison. He also has to pay a $250k fine, be under supervised release for two years after his prison sentence, and perform 250 hours of community service.
The outlet said that during the sentencing, Mossimo addressed the judge by saying, “I deeply regret the harm that my actions have caused my daughters, my wife and others. I take full responsibility for my conduct, and I’m ready to accept the consequences and move forward with the lessons I’ve learned from this experience.”
To recap, Lori and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, paid college fixer William ‘Rick’ Singer $500,000 to get their two daughters into USC as rowing recruits. Actress Felicity Huffman was also involved in the college admission scandal and was sentenced to 14 days in prison last year.
