Mariah Carey must really love Ryan Reynolds, since she's seen his latest flick, Free Guy a bit more than the average fan -- she actually watched the movie nine times in a row.

Fans that have already seen the movie, which was released over the weekend, know that her song "Fantasy" plays a giant role in the film, Comicbook reports.

Carey, 52, took to Twitter to share her multiple viewing experience writing, "Me watching #FreeGuy for the 9th time in a row! I'm in heaven." She tagged Reynolds' twitter account as well. "It's the most important thing that ever happened," read a gif of the singer that she added to the post.

Reynolds seems to be a fan of Carey as well, saying in a recent interview, "I am a huge Mariah Carey fan. It really was one of those weird things that happened naturally. I write to music anyway, and I initially put a song in the script by The Outfield called 'Your Love.' It's an old '80s tune. It's great, but it just didn't have that epic scale I was looking for. And then 'Fantasy' just came on my playlist and everything clicked in."

Just yesterday (August 17) Reynolds tweeted about Free Guy writing, "This movie is about friendship. And friendship is at its simplest, just showing up. While I don’t have photos of everyone, here’s to all the incredible pals who showed up for this film."

Director Shawn Levy told said that the movies owes its success to Reynolds and his creativity. “Yeah. The truth is if you're lucky enough to direct Ryan Reynolds in a starring role, you get all these secret weapons in addition. And the truth is that Ryan has very quirky, weird, inspired musical taste,” Levy said. “So whether it was the Mariah Carey song or make your own kind of music, like a deep cut from the '50s or '60s, Ryan sometimes will go, 'Is this a weird idea or should we try this song?' And what I've learned with Ryan is don't say no, at least give it a try because eight out of 10 times, it's going to be amazing, and it's going to make it into the movie."

The movie was such a hit that it was recently confirmed for a sequel.
