According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the QB participated in a Raiders practice today.
It's been six years since the former QB played on a professional team after his kneeling during the national anthem to protest racial injustice became a controversial topic nationwide. The last time Kaepernick played professionally was January 1, 2017, for the 49ers.
Schefter also reported that“other teams have pondered” bringing Kaepernick, who threw during the University of Michigan’s spring football game in April, in for a workout.
He has remained a free agent since 2017 and kept working out in hopes of returning to the NFL.
