Lil Baby Inspires a Generation in Untrapped Documentary
We play a lot of Lil’ Baby songs on Foxy, but I never really knew much about who he was beyond his music. I knew my teenage son referred to him as the G.O.A.T.
After watching his Amazon Prime documentary last night, I understand why. This young many (like so many of us) grew up in poverty. A lot of people who don’t grow up in this socio-economic demographic don’t understand how fight or flight almost becomes a part of your personality.
You grow up in survival mode, still, the fear of failure is so strong that it can paralyze you. You grow up fully understanding what failure can lead you back to. So, when you accumulate success in whatever form; you hold on tightly. This documentary shows how Lil Baby was so successful as a drug dealer, that we almost missed out on one of the greatest Artists to emerge from Generation Z.
This is a great watch with your teenagers, I made my son write out his first 5-year plan after watching! Check out the trailer and link to the full movie below.
