21 Savage Trolls Metro Boomin With Drake’s Lyrics
21 Savage is joining in on the fun of trolling Metro Boomin with Drake’s lyrics. The “Runnin” rapper was on Instagram Live over the holiday weekend, chatting with fans and jamming to music.
Savage Trolls Metro Boomin, Metro Boomin Trolls Savage
As the 31-year-old rapper spotted his longtime record producer’s comment: “ADD ME,” on Monday (May 27), Metro had some fun trolling 21 while he was added to the Live. While Savage was trolling him, saying his microphone isn’t working and that he’s on that “poor a– Wi-Fi,” Metro was busy trolling the rapper in the comments section, calling him “OVOSAVAGE,” adding, “I JUST KNOW YOU GOT AN OWL TRAMP STAMP,” referring to Drake’s OVO logo.
When 21 spotted some of Metro’s trolling comments, he called him out and said, “Oh, you was talking s—, bitch? Get off my Live, bitch. I ain’t even see all them other comments…” As Metro was removed from the Live, Savage added, “F— wrong with these n—-s, I’m finna block this n—-.” He made to look as if he were reporting Metro to Meta and said, “Bullying. He bullying me. One person. Submit report! F— wrong with that n—-.”
Later, 21 blurted out Drake’s diss to Kendrick Lamar with lyrics from “Push Ups” to Metro. “Metro, shut your ho a– up and make some drums, n—-!” he yelled. Other notable lyrics from Drizzy’s “Push Ups” include when he listed other artists who have Kendrick “wiped down,” like SZA, Travis Scott, and 21 Savage.
21 Savage Friends With Drake and Metro
Drake and 21 have collaborated on songs, albums, and a tour together in recent years. 21 Savage has remained neutral while Drake and Kendrick’s rap beef has been going on. However, Metro responded to Drake’s mentions of him in his diss tracks with the viral “BBL Drizzy” instrumental song. Metro and Drake have been beefing since Metro’s since-deleted tweet that was in response to comparing the streaming numbers of Drake’s Her Loss album and his 2022 album, Heroes & Villains.
As we previously reported, Heroes & Villains has twice the amount of streaming numbers daily compared to Her Loss. In addition, the tweet claimed that Heroes & Villains had the most streams (3.7 billion) of any other rap album since 2018.
Looking at the data behind Heroes & Villians seemingly struck a nerve with the producer, prompting him to say: “Yet Her Loss keeps winning rap album of the year over H&V,” Metro wrote at the time. “Proof that award shows are just politics and not for me. Idc about awards honestly, the true award and REWARD is knowing that the music I spend so much time on brings joy to people’s everyday lives.” Drake also unfollowed Metro on Instagram following the beef.
Earlier this month, while on Instagram Live, 21 addressed fans who keep bugging him about Drake and Metro Boomin’s ongoing feud. “Bruh, aye, don’t keep comin’ on my muthaf—in’ live talkin’ about no muthaf—in’ beef,” 21 said. “Metro my brother, and Drake my brother. Them n—-s gonna figure that s— out eventually.”
