The City of Fayetteville now has four public pools open for business, as the Lake Rim Aquatic Center finally opened its gates. The city held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new facility at 2265 Tar Kiln Drive in the western part of Fayetteville, Thursday morning.
According to the City, the facility “features a wading pool complete with an in-water playground, competitive pool with six lanes and a 18 foot high water slide.” The pool is open daily from noon-2:30 p.m. for Session 1, and then from 3:30-6 p.m. for Session 2. All pools in Fayetteville are open Tuesday-Sunday.
Admission is $1 per session for residents 12 and under, and $2 for residents 13 and over. Non-residents are $2 for 12 and under, and $4 for 13 and up.
The Lake Rim facility joins three others across the city. Chalmers Pool at 1520 Slater Ave., Bates Pool at 4945 Rosehill Rd., and Westover Aquatic Center at 266 Bonanza Dr.
