Tee Grizzley Releases Video For “Teetroit” (Lyrics NSFW)
Tee Grizzley, a Detroit native, releases a song to accompany the new film Detroit.
1967 was a bad time for Detroit, and with the new movie Detroit being released last Friday, Tee Grizzley gives a grotesque look on Detroit.
The track does include visuals with Detroit riot participants and their families according to the YouTube link, and the message portrays a violent nature in Detroit culture still today.
The image of Detroit has changed vastly in the last few years, and many businesses have been injecting themselves into the Downtown Sector of Detroit thanks to Bedrock / Quicken Loans owner Dan Gilbert, but there’s still a lot of work to be done in the outskirts of the city who are still rising from the ashes of the 1967 riots.
