A College Basketball Legend Was Born Last Night
Last night, Villanova defeated Michigan in the College Basketball National Championship.
In case you missed it, the game was electrifying and a legend was born in the process.
The beginning of the game looked like everyone slept on Michigan all tournament and they were going to give Nova a fight till the end, but then Donte DiVincenzo got hot.
Michigan was up 21-14 when Nova went on a 23-7 run to close out the first half. DiVincenzo poured in 12 points of his own during the run which sparked the Wildcats to take a 37-28 halftime lead.
DiVincenzo finished with 31 points, the most points scored by a single player in a championship game since 1989.
