Nene Leakes Says She’s ‘The Queen’ And Kenya Moore Isn’t
During the Real Housewives of Atlanta after show Nene Leakes wanted to make it clear that she’s “The Queen” of RHOA.
The RHOA star was asked at the beginning of the after show why she was so upset at Kenya Moore showing up to Cynthia Bailey’s party, during a previous episode of RHOA.
“It didn’t upset me so much that I saw her at the party. I was upset after the fact, not at the party,” Leakes said while Marlo sat next to her and cleared her throat alluding that Leakes wasn’t being all the way honest.
Marlo chimed in to remind Leakes that she was in fact “upset” and “mad” at Bailey’s party.
“Listen this is how this goes where Kenya is concerned. Kenya ain’t on this show, let’s be clear. And she ain’t on this show by her own default. Not anybody else has nothing to do with that. Kenya steps on this show and feels like she is Queen B. B**** you got it wrong! You ain’t even here from day one. You just entered on what season six, or some sh**, five or six. Like you way behind me. You ain’t Queen B. Now listen. I give all these girls this. I give them all this. You guys are all queens. You’re just not the motherf***in queen. So you good, okay. Be clear about who f***ing started this show. If you don’t give me sh** else, you gone give me this sh**, my props. You are queens, but you ain’t the queen. So know that.” she concluded.
Leakes went on to explain that Bailey typically wants others to give a heads up if they’re going to put someone in the position of being in the same space with someone who they don’t get along with, and she feels that Bailey should hold the same courtesy for others, including her.
Bailey and Kandi Burrus, sat down next to each other during the after show while Bailey explained her position regarding Leakes qualms about Moore being invited to the model’s party. Bailey explained that she wasn’t even sure if Moore was going to show up to the party, and she didn’t want to bother Leakes about the situation, although now she definitely wishes that she would have made that phone call to Leakes. Bailey also made it very clear that she didn’t feel as if she needed to get her guest list approved by anyone.
Leakes, on the other hand, feels that Bailey was being facetious. She also feels like because she considered Bailey and herself to be close, she should have given her a warning that Moore would possibly be present at the party.
On a brighter note, Porsha Williams and Shamari Devoe discussed the new mom’s gender reveal party towards the end of the after show, which was featured on RHOA. Williams shared that she was disappointed because the tent that she wanted wasn’t present. She stated that she also was confused because she had no clue of the gender and somehow she ended up getting a blue ribbon popper when she should have had a pink one (Williams recently gave birth to a baby girl). Although Williams was stressed during the event, she and Devoe confirmed that her circus-themed gender reveal party was a major success.
