Lizzo Accuses Summerfest Security Guards Of Attacking Her Team
Early Friday morning, Lizzo took to Instagram to air out security guards at Milwaukee’s Summerfest who the “Juice” singer-rapper claims attacked her team.
The singer shared a photo of herself and explained in her caption that her team was allegedly attacked by security guards at the music festival that lasts for 11 days and features performers on 12 different stages.
“Tonight was beautiful. You are beautiful. But the struggle ain’t over. Racism and bigotry don’t care if you’re a headliner,” Lizzo wrote.
“If you lay hands on my team again, I hope you ready for the wrath of God. Thank you @summerfest. We will be filing a complaint against that bigoted “security” guard and I hope you’ll be cooperative in seeking justice. ???????? xoxo.”
The “Truth Hurts” rapper, who recently brought the house down at the 2019 BET Awards, also added an update to her caption stating that Summerfest had responded to her and would be investigating the guards who allegedly attacked her crew.
” Thanks for the support and please send any footage you might have it all helps,” Lizzo wrote.
