Biz Markie Hospitalized For Complications With Diabetes

Biz Markie has been hospitalized due to complications with diabetes.

Rap Group J.J. FAD announced the news to fans on their Instagram page. They wrote, “Sending prayers up to our hip hop brother and good friend @officialbizmarkie. He has been hospitalized with complications from diabetes!! Please get better soon, we love you man!!!!!”

The Daily Mail adds that the rapper has been in the hospital for weeks, but the seriousness of his condition is unknown. They state, “Although having type 2 diabetes increases the likelihood of severe complications with the novel coronavirus, according to the CDC, representatives for Biz said he doesn’t have COVID-19.”

Biz Markie is 56-years-old.
