Kanye West Drops ‘Donda’ Album
The highly-anticipated Donda album is now available to stream after its dramatic rollout.
Kanye’s 10th studio album Donda, is named after his late mother, Donda West, who passed in 2007. The 27 track album contains the popular single “Jail” featuring Jay-Z and “No Child Left Behind,” which was first heard in an Apple Beats commercial featuring track star Sha’Carri Richardson. Other features on the album include Travis Scott, Lil Baby, The Weeknd, Pusha T, and more.
As of now, there is no cover art for the album so it’s possible that it will be updated in the upcoming days.
Ye’s unique rollout for the album consistently made headlines, one more extravagant than the previous one. The last listening party was held on Thursday night for fans at Soldier Field in Chicago, the rapper’s hometown. He had a multitude of interesting guests including DaBaby, Marilyn Manson and estranged wife Kim Kardashian.
A part of creating a mesmerizing visual aesthetic, in typical Kanye style, the stage also had sentimental value as the stage was a replica of his childhood home that he shared with his late mom, Donda West.
